Angel Beats! {Revisited} A well off series with a lot of hype around its ending. with funny characters and some sad scenes I found myself kind of bored. Angel Beats! Promotional Poster I understand the hype around this series, but really it ruined the series for me. Yes, episodes 9 and 12 are sad, but some plot points ruined this series for me. Story - 5 The only reason the story gets a five is due to the dark monsters that appeared nearing the end of the series. these monsters ruined the series for me, what I expected from this series was immediately shattered when they appeared. With the ending of episode 9, I was estatic with the way that this show was turning out. If they had kept with this pace and focused on helping each person individually, I would gladly give the story a 8. Death Parade A series, that surprised me with its views and its well-done character stories. Death Parade Release Poster This series is great at their single episode character arks and keeping their watchers on the edge of their seats, but lack in many other areas. Story - 6 I enjoyed this story. it's not groundbreaking, but it can hold its own. the story being based around people without emotions determining where dead peoples souls go after death. with only fragments of a persons life shown at any time. this allows the audience to grow their own opinions on the situations each person is in. The overarcing lesson of this series is strong, However there are some serious flaws. The arbiters which are the emotion-less dummies that judge a persons soul aren't as said. they show obvious emotion, such as Ginti (Red-Haired Guy) who shows obvious amonts of anger and moodiness.
